In January 2010, the first meeting of the Joint Study Group (JSG) of the delegations of Chile and the Dominican Republic was held to assess the feasibility of a possible bilateral free trade agreement. Between the 29^th and 30^th November 2010, the second meeting of the JSG was held in which they finalized the Feasibility Study for a Trade Agreement between the two countries.
