Mexico-Singapore
  Background and Negotiations
   

In September 1999, Mexico and Singapore agreed to undertake negotiations towards a free trade agreement. Negotiations began in July 2000. After four rounds of negotiations, the two countries issued a joint declaration regarding the scope of the agreement, the status of the negotiations, and future work and timeframe.
